Description
What is a Polaroid Strip
-
A Polaroid strip is a layout of several “Polaroid-style” images printed one after another in a vertical or horizontal strip. Think of a photo booth “strip” with multiple frames, or a filmstrip look.
-
Usually each “frame” has the Polaroid white border look: thick bottom margin (or side) where you can write a note/date, and smaller borders elsewhere.
-
It’s decorative: used for collages, gift cards, scrapbooks, walls, lighting strings etc. Can evoke nostalgia.
How Polaroid Strips are Made
You have two main ways:
-
Digital + Print
-
Create or use a template (Photoshop, Canva, or online editor) that has 2-4 “Polaroid” boxes in a strip layout.
-
Upload your photos to fill each box. Adjust framing / cropping so nothing important is cut.
-
Export the strip image. Then send to a print shop or an online printing service on photo paper.
-
-
Instant Printers / Photobooth Services
-
Some photo booths or instant print stations allow printing multiple shots in a strip (e.g. photobooth and Polaroid stations).
-
Also, there are dedicated “Polaroid stations” / photo-booths which can print strips onsite for events
